This was our first gig in Tampere so we didn't really know what to expect. But it was a good gig. Hellä is a cool club. I just can't help wondering whether or not it was a bit too big for a band like us - I mean they have bands like Mayhem and Rotting Christ and Marduk playing there among other big and established names, and now we were so-called "headliners" at a place like that. Jesus fucking Christ. Ha ha! But things turned out to be quite OK and we didn't have to play to an empty club. It seemed that the majority of the crowd there had come to see The Zombi (I really think that they should have been the headliners to be honest). So... when we actually got to play our set it was kind of an lukewarm response that we got. But around half-way through the set something just clicked and the audience got into us. It's kinda strange how these things work. I've never been able to figure out what the fuck it is that makes good things just happen at the moment you start to think that "this is not really worth all the trouble". Perhaps we just got lucky or they were just slowly but surely getting into our music. The rest of the gig was great. And if all the shouting and moshing wasn't enough there were people out there who were very loud and insisted on hearing 'Jokainen ihminen on luodin arvoinen'. And so we played the motherfucker live for the first time since January 2005!!! Strange. But fun. Definitely. So after that we played two more songs and that was it. Our Tampere debut was over so it was time to get drunk and all the usual crap.
