| It's been quiet for a reason: at the moment we are concentrating totally on rehearsing and writing new stuff, so unless we get a seriously good offer we won't play live anywhere anytime soon. It's been 2 years and many lineup changes since Annihilation was released. I suppose we would already have written and recorded and released the next album without all the bullshit with drummers that has prevented rehearsing new stuff. But that's life. As I said, from now on we are in the writing mode and I will let you know how things progress sooner or later... |

| Spirit Disease is not dead. |

| Strange things going on within the small local metal scene. I mean Mohkis used to play in Dead Shape Figure, then he joined us and now he's back in Dead Shape Figure. Tuomikanto used to play with us, then he joined Dead Shape Figure, and now... ...yes, you guessed right: he's playing with us and yesterday he brought all his gear to our rehearsal place. He's not a member of SD, but a friend who wants to help us out so it's just like in late 2006/early 2007. After all he's a great guy and a great drummer (so was Mohkis too, but he made his choice and is probably now on his way to becoming some kind of a rock star with DSF touring the world and all that crap). So everything seems to be kinda well after all. We're a bunch of stubborn motherfuckers refusing to quit. And I'm proud of it. |

| Mohkis has left Spirit Disease to rejoin Dead Shape Figure. We would like to thank him and wish him all the luck in the future. In the meantime we shall think about our own future. We'll let you know what's happening once we really know what we're going to do next. |

| Burden A.D. cancelled their gig, so tonight only three bands will play at Kantis. Because of that the ticket price was also lowered - you can get in for 3€ now which isn't too much. Or is it? Exact showtimes are now unknown, but I guess that Butcher's Block will begin to play between 10pm and 10.30pm or something and then it's time for Gadus Morhua to make some noise and after them it's our turn. Or something. |

| We've got a gig tomorrow @ Kantis. Once again we're so-called "headliners" so we will be playing kinda late. But all four bands are very good ones, so please show up early to catch them live and to get in. With 4 bands playing the place just might get full/sold out (I suppose there will be lots of friends of all the bands too) and it's not exactly a huge place anyway. | Hello. It's been a while since the last news update but that's because not much has happened. Anyway, we've got this gig coming up next Thursday, so if you're interested in seeing the first gig of this line-up, get your ass to Lepakkomies. Cheap beer and crap metal. | SD is back at 100% power and everything's fine. Mohkis knows most of the stuff he needs to know and now we're ready to play live again. So we will try to find a few gigs here and there. You can also offer us some gigs if you feel like doing so. We've been working with the new stuff too and realized that some of that needs to be rearranged and some of the lyrics need to be rewritten and some of the riffs need to be changed etc. etc. etc. So everything's quite normal, thank you! We're kinda slow with this writing shit but that's just the way we are. There will be another SD album some day. Don't know which year though. ;) |

| It's 2008 as you've probably noticed. So what? We have a new drummer, so from this day on the SD lineup is: More information about Mohkis will be added here later on. He is a talented and experienced musician and previously he played in Dead Shape Figure. To make things more funny/complicated/incestuous, it has to be mentioned that the guy who replaced mister Toivonen for a few gigs in spring 2007 is nowadays the drummer of Dead Shape Figure. Yes. The "scene" seems to be kinda small or something. |
