OK, here we go. It's released NOW and it's downloadable now. We're glad to give you a totally FREE three song downloadable single. DOWNLOAD IT FROM HERE! Yeah. Three songs & covers & shit... not a bad deal, eh?![]() Expect to see some new photos & stuff within a few days. I've been busy with other shit and there's some new photos in our MySpace and Facebook sites, so you can always check them out there if you want to... ;) |

All three songs we recorded two weeks ago can now be listened to at our MySpace site. They were remixed and mastered this week, so there's now also a new (and improved?) version of Spawn Of Satan. So now you can only listen the songs, but these songs will most likely be made available sooner or later as a completely free downloadable Internet single thing... or whatever you want to call it. There will also be a very limited pro-CDR-EP made for promotional use only. That means it will be sent to record labels and so on. All the rest will have to download the songs and the cover & print it and burn their own CD. That's the way things will go. Oh, almost forgot: yesterday we had a photo shoot, so there will be a set of new SD photos too. It was about time. Our previous photo session was in 2006!

Allright, motherfuckers! There's now one new SD song at our MySpace site. Check it out!

Just a little bit over a week to go until we enter the studio! It's been three looooooooooooooong years since we recorded anything and I'm quite excited about the forthcoming sessions. I know for sure that we will record at least two songs this time - one of them we have even played live twice (Spawn Of Satan) and the other one we have never played live (Collateral Damage). We may record some more stuff but that depends on many things. Let's see what happens. We do have some shit sort of ready to record, but... who knows? Should we spend more time mixing the stuff or recording as much as possible and then just do a quick mix and hope it's good enough? Don't know, really.

Now here's something for ya! More SD video shit can be seen on the Spirit Disease Video Channel in YouTube!

|
Showtimes for tomorrow's gig at Dante's Highlight! 23.30 Dauntless 22.30 Murdershock 21.30 Spirit Disease Yes, we will be the guinea pigs for the mixing desk AKA the "Special Guest" - we will play first. Anyway, that means if you want to see us you'd better get your asses to Dante's kinda early. See you there!

The silence is about to end. In mid-July Spirit Disease will enter the good old D-Studio to record a few new tunes. Expect to hear some new Spirit Disease crap in less than three months! Right now it seems that the recordings will be released as an Internet only single (a limited edition pro CDR thing will be made for promotional use only - just to see if there's a record label somewhere interested in signing us). We will record the second full length album later, but we wanted to get some new stuff recorded and made available just to remind people out there that we still exist. After all it's been three years and several SD drummers have disappeared since Annihilation was released.

All right! Tonight Hänninen plays his first gig with us so I suppose tonight will be something special. Or special as in retarded. Don't know the exact showtimes but I suppose the first band will start their set at around 10pm... or something like that. It remains to be seen. Anyway, it's been nearly a year since we played in Helsinki last time (and that gig was a complete disaster - no, I won't say more), so it's nice to be able to play this "comeback gig" or whatever you want to call it - basically it's just a normal gig even though we haven't been playing live for a while.

It's Friday the 13th and Spirit Disease is now a five piece band again after almost nine months without a permanent drummer. The new line-up is: Tuberculosis - vocals Koskinen - guitar & vocals Riikonen - guitar Sallanen - bass & vocals Hänninen - drums More information about the newest and youngest member of SD later. We are planning to play a few gigs later this spring and right now it seems that the first one will be played in April... but once we get more info we'll post the details here. All the shit above means that we will continue working with new stuff for the next album as soon as possible... hopefully we have the fucker recorded by the end of this year.

We honestly are trying to get our shit together and there's even some drummers who are interested in playing with us. Let's see what happens.

It's 2009, ladies and gentlemen and hermaphrodites! And as usual, there's nothing going on at Camp SD. Except for the seemingly endless search for a new drummer. In the meantime Tuberculosis is busy with Witheria (second album coming out in February through Stay Heavy Records) and I am bashing the shit out of my bass guitars in Exremains. Don't know about our two blond guitar heroes, though. I suppose they're doing something too. PS. I'm aware of the fact that this site looks pretty shitty and especially very fucking shitty if viewed on other than 1024x768 resolution. I may have to think about changing stuff around here one of these days. In the meantime you just have to SUFFER.
